The Ageless Tree – Mixed Media Installation

This sculptural tree stands as a guardian figure overlooking the vulnerable female form behind it. Though appearing weathered and dormant, the tree holds stories, memories, and shelter within its branches. I made the Ceramic mushrooms, natural wood, and symbolic details such as feathers create an ecosystem of endurance, suggesting that even damaged landscapes continue to nurture life beneath the surface.
Central to the work is the shadow cast by the tree itself. Conceptually, the shadow becomes a protective presence, wrapping around the female figure and offering the safety, comfort, and belonging she has long searched for. The work speaks to resilience, healing, and the quiet hope that even after hardship, protection and growth can still be found.
